Bio
From a very young age, all I wanted was to be a writer. There was something about the peace and solace I found when reading which attracted me. For years, I wrote in secret. Stories which never saw the light of day, so I am very grateful to be able to call this my career.
My Story
I was born and raised in Essex with my family. Growing up, reading was a large part of my life. It was not until High School, when my English teacher pulled me aside to say that I should consider writing. I took her advice and began that journey. I continued, throughout my twenties to write in secret, trying to publish stories which looking back, had no right to take up space on a bookshelf. However those moments helped me learn what good writing and storytelling is.
It was not until I moved to Chicago in 2022, where I started taking this seriously. It was a 'now or never' moment. The now came true in 2025 with the publication of my debut novel, The Men He Met Along The Way.
I write to make sense of the world we live in and the moments we experience. The ability to put pen to paper is my way of processing all that happens to us. My aim is for others, like myself, to read stories which in turn help them understand life and all its beautiful complexities.
